Construction and engineering company Omas, Limitada will build the Commercial Cooperation Services Complex between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, announced the Macau Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau.
The contract involves the payment of 692.8 million patacas (US$86.6 million), and the complex must be built within 600 days at Praia Grande Bay, in two lots located next to the Legislative Assembly, with a total of around 14,000 square metres.
According to the project, the complex includes an Exhibition Centre for Products from Portuguese-Speaking Countries, a Service Centre for Companies from China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, an Information Centre, an Exhibition Pavilion on Economic and Trade Relations between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Respective Cultures, and a Training Centre between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries.
Omas, Limitada is specialised in engineering works such as land reclamation, construction of buildings and mechanical and electrical services. (macauhub)
