The 2017PLPEX (Exhibition of Products and Services from Portuguese Speaking Countries) will involve more than 200 companies from China, Macau and eight Portuguese-speaking countries, according to the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).
The exhibition, which will take place this year for the first time independently from the Macau International Fair (MIF) in an area of more than 3,000 square metres, will also have the participation of food marketing agents and professional service providers from the Portuguese-speaking countries in Macau, registered in the Portal for Cooperation in the Economic, Commercial and Human Resources Area between China and the Portuguese Speaking Countries.
The event will also include themed seminars, fashion shows in Portuguese-speaking countries, cuisine, and cultural exhibitions, among other activities.
At the same time, the “Business Services Centre for SMEs in China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” will be established, aiming to build a communication and cooperation platform for those companies and assist them in expanding their market and creating business opportunities.
During the exhibition, the “Sino-Lusophone Event for the Establishment of the SME Investment and Trade Partnership” will also be held, in which participants will be able to establish contacts through the Online Contact Services Platform, which is conducive to exchange and business negotiations.
The Exhibition of Products and Services from Portuguese-Speaking Countries “has been held since 2015 as an “exhibition within the exhibition,” attracting more than 140 companies and institutions last year and offering a platform for exhibition and negotiation to companies that intended to expand economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
