Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer delivered 25 jet aircraft to the commercial aviation segment and 20 to the executive aviation segment in the third quarter, the company said in a statement issued in São José dos Campos.
From January to September, Embraer delivered to its customers a total of 137 aircraft, 78 to airlines and 59 to the executive aviation segment, according to the statement.
The main highlights of the third quarter were an order for 45 aircraft made by US carrier SkyWest Airlines and orders of 25 other aircraft, worth US$1.1 billion, according to catalogue prices.
Embraer’s customers in China include the airlines China Southern, Colourful Guizhou Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Henei Airlines and Hebei Airlines, to which it has delivered 121 aircraft.
The company also has an order from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for ten E190-E2 jets.
Embraer operates in the segments of Commercial Aviation, Executive Aviation, Defence & Security and Agricultural Aviation. Since its foundation in 1969, Embraer has delivered over 8,000 aircraft. (macauhub)
