The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau) reported its attendance at the 22nd Macau International Fair (MIF) and the first edition of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (PLPEX).
The Permanent Secretariat is attending MIF with the Pavilion of the Portuguese Speaking Countries and in PLPEX with a “stand”, according to official information.
The Pavilion of Portuguese-Speaking Countries has an area of 180 square metres, where there are eight stands of Portuguese-speaking countries (Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste) to publicise the investment and business climates of the various countries through texts, photographs, videos and product presentation to promote Forum Macau and the Macau Platform.
The statement from the Permanent Secretariat also said that the Macau government has provided 10 bilingual workers to support delegates at Forum Macau and companies from the respective countries to establish contacts with Chinese companies seeking business opportunities.
The Pavilion of Portuguese-Speaking Countries has attracted around 5,000 visitors every year. (macauhub)
