Angolan state airline TAAG plans to resume regular flights to the city of Dundo on 31 October, 10 years after the last flight to the city, in the province of Lunda-Norte, in Angola.
TAAG will offer two weekly flights between Luanda and Dundo.
Dundo airport has undergone improvements over the last few years.
In 2012 work was carried out to expand the passenger terminal and in 2014 the runway was extended from 1,800 metres to 2,500 metres allowing large-capacity aircraft to land.
The improvements to Camaquenzo airport, which increased its capacity to 300 passengers at peak times, were inaugurated on 10 October by Angola’s Minister of Transport, Augusto da Silva Tomás. (macauhub)
