The 2017 edition of the Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) International Fair (FIC) surpassed all indicators and there are already companies pre-registered companies for the 2018 edition, said the president of the exhibition, Gil Costa, in statements on Sundayto Cape Verdean broadcaster Radio Morabeza.
The president told the radio station that the organisers started receiving pre-registrations for 2018 last June, when the available space for the event this year was sold out. At the end of FIC 2017 almost 30 companies expressed their intention to return to the fair next year.
The next edition of FIC takes place in the city of Praia, the capital of the country, from 14 to 18 November.
For this year’s edition, Costa told the radio station that the fair’s organisers had set eight indicators to assess the 21st edition of FIC, seven of which were quantitative and one was qualitative.
“Five of the seven quantitative indicators were exceeded on the day of the inauguration, and the only ones left to measure were the number of visitors as well as the contacts between companies, but by the dynamics observed, we have no doubt that these were also exceeded,” said the president of the most important trade fair in Cabo Verde.
