The analysis of the economic and political situation of the Portuguese-speaking countries and business opportunities with China, at a time when Beijing is strongly committed to the “Belt and Road” and “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Great Bay” initiatives, are the main lines of action of the new English-language news service launched on Monday and called China-Lusophone Brief (CLBrief).
CLBrief (http://clbrief.com), available free of charge after registration at this launching stage, will analyse and publish in detail aspects of legislation, tax benefits, investment opportunities and areas, the economic situation of countries and profiles of personalities linked to private and government sectors.
With a large team of researchers and analysts around the world, CLBrief will provide more detailed and exclusive information on the main issues of current economic relevance to China’s initiatives and their connection with Portuguese-speaking countries.
Chinese e-commerce companies in Portuguese-speaking countries, the future of Forum Macau, Brazil’s pressure on China to diversify investment, the significance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong Kong-Macau Great Bay Area, the challenges Mozambique is facing in regaining international investor confidence and the biography of the Mozambican foreign minister, José Pacheco, are some of the themes covered at the launch of CLBrief.
On request, the new service will also produce sectoral reports on investment opportunities in countries where CLBrief is specialised and in industries seeking partners and capital.
Based in Macau, CLBrief intends to identify new routes and opportunities for companies and business people while supporting Macau’s role as a platform in economic and trade relations between China and the eight Portuguese-speaking countries. (macauhub)
