The Macau Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has launched web pages on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Great Bay in order to reflect the human and economic development situation in that metropolitan region, the institution said.

The web pages present the main statistical indicators of the various cities of the Great Bay, as well as the cultural and economic exchange data between Macau and the other cities in the region, to serve as a reference for the various social sectors.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Great Bay is the metropolitan area of Guangdong Province (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing) and two special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau).

Based on the data published by the respective statistical agencies and organised and compiled for the Great Bay, the web pages are intended to improve public understanding of the current development situation of these cities.

Thematic web pages are available in traditional and simplified Chinese versions, as well as in Portuguese and English, and interested parties can access them through the DSEC website ( or directly at (macauhub)
