The Luanda International Fair (Filda/2018), to be held from 10 to 14 July in Viana, is expected to gather together 500 companies, 200 of which have already registered for what is Angola’s largest business exchange, said on Wednesday in Luanda the chairman of the board of directors of the Arena group, Bruno Albernaz.
The president of the Arena group, which organises the fair in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Planning, said that 13 countries have already expressed an interest in participating in this year’s edition of the Luanda International Fair, under the motto “Diversify the economy, develop the private sector.”
The fair will be held in the new Luanda Exhibition Park in the Luanda/Bengo Special Economic Zone, “a choice that resulted from the fact that the place has space and conditions for business activity,” said Albernaz, quoted by the Angop news agency.
The highlight will be 12 July, which is Angola Day, when a seminar will be held to publicise the new Private Investment Law, the 2018-2022 National Development Plan, as well as the Programme to Support Production, Diversification of Exports and Replacement of Imports (Prodesi). (macauhub)
