Macau’s casinos posted gross revenue of 27.328 billion patacas (US$3.416 billion) in October, an increase of 2.6% year-on-year, according to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
The year-on-year percentage change was the lowest of the year, after 2.8% in September.
Monthly changes since January have usually been two digits, with the exception of the two months mentioned and February, with a maximum of 36.4% in January and a minimum of 10.3% in July.
Accumulated gross revenue at casinos in October reached 251.383 billion patacas (US$31.422 billion), or an increase of 14.3% compared with the first 10 months of 2017.
Macau’s six gaming and gambling concession holders had 41 casinos at the end of the first half, of which 22 were owned by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, six by Galaxy Casino, five by Melco Crown (Macau), two by Wynn Resorts, and two by MGM Grand Paradise, with 6,598 gaming tables and 17,218 slot machines.
