Representatives of the tourism industry are promoting Macau as a quality tourist destination at the 1st China International Import Expo, according to the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the organising body.

This action aims to jointly promote the eastern and western cultures, cuisine, tourism products, facilities and services, among other aspects of Macau, actively promoting the city’s position as a world centre of tourism and leisure.

The China International Imports Expo is the first Chinese exhibition focused specifically on imports includes both a fair and forum.

The MGTO has set up a display on the theme “Feeling Macau Your Way,” with an area of 180 square metres, in the “Exhibition of Services Trade Exhibition – Tourism Services” and organised the participation of eight tour operators including hotels, Air Macau and a shipping company.

Several public services in Macau organised the participation of operators in the companies exhibition, with a view to raising awareness of the position and advantages of Macau’s development as “a centre and a platform” and its participation in the national “Belt and Road” initiative. (macauhub)
