Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU) posted a positive result of 475.9 million patacas (US$59.5 million) in the period from January to September, according to the balance sheet published in the Macau Official Gazette.
The value recorded in the first three quarters of 2018 represents a decrease of 15.62% compared to the positive result of 564 million patacas recorded in the same period of 2017.
From January to September of the current year BNU netted revenues of 1.29 billion patacas and registered costs of 814.1 million patacas.
In 2017 Banco Nacional Ultramarino posted a profit of 705.69 million patacas (US$88.2 million), an increase of 25.9% compared to the result of 560.5 million patacas posted in 2016.
The Bank of China, the other issuing bank in Macau, recorded a positive result of 4.888 billion patacas in the third quarter of the year, with costs of 10.621 billion and income of 15.009 billion patacas. (macauhub)
