The Chinese group Alibaba will be presented to Portuguese companies during the conference “The Gateway to Portuguese Companies in China: e-commerce, technology and innovation”, organized by the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP) in Millennium bcp, according to an official statement.

The AICEP statement said that the conference, which will take place on 29 November in Lisbon, aims to explain how the various platforms of the Alibaba group can facilitate access by Portuguese companies to the Chinese market as well as the relationship with consumers.

The agency also informed that representatives of the various platforms of the group will travel to Portugal to present the opportunities that exist for Portuguese companies in e-commerce, smart payments, travel and tourism, cloud services and other innovative services.

During the conference it is planned to sign a Strategic Development Agreement between AICEP and Alibaba Group, which will be the first stage of a more effective cooperation with Portugal and Portuguese companies. (macauhub)
