President of Angola wants to verify financial support to private entities

The Angolan President has ordered the creation of a working group to survey public investment support by private entities, financial newspaper Mercado reported.

The order signed by João Lourenço also determines that the working group must investigate State-owned companies based on the amounts involved, identify solutions and present measures to be adopted by the State within a period of 60 days.

The group includes, among others, the Ministers of Finance, Interior, Justice and Human Rights, Economy and Planning, and Natural Resources and Oil, the Inspector General of State Administration and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of state oil company Sonangol. (macauhub)
