AICEP Portugal Global has named Maria Carolina Lousinha as the new delegate in Macau, an AICEP source told Macauhub in Lisbon.
Lousinha, who worked as a business development manager at AICEP’s office in São Paulo, Brazil, will replace Maria João Bonifácio, who was a delegate in Macau for several years.
Bonifácio was a member of AICEP as a delegate to Forum Macau, representing Portugal.
It was not revealed whether Lousinha will work at Forum Macau, where officials of the institution have called for Portugal to appoint a full-time delegate.
Lousinha, 41, has a degree in Economics from the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon.
Prior to joining AICEP in 2006, Lousinha worked for Diageo Brasil in São Paulo, an importer of the Portuguese wine from the José Maria da Fonseca winery. (macauhub)
