China has awarded 41 scholarships to Mozambique for undergraduate and master’s degrees in the 2019/2020 academic year, and the deadline for submission of applications runs until 5 March, according to the Scholarship Institute.
The scholarships made available to Mozambique are for undergraduate (36) and master’s degrees (5), and in the latter case students must master spoken and written Chinese and/or English, according to a statement from the Scholarship Institute, which is supervised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Higher and Technical-Professional Education.
For undergraduate scholarships, candidates must have completed 12th grade or the equivalent with a grade point average of 12 or higher and have attained at least that grade in the basic subjects of their intended course of study.
The documents required for application include a letter of pre-admission or acceptance by a Chinese university, a list of which is available at http://www.campuschina.org/.
The courses available for bachelor’s degrees include agronomy, medicine, engineering, biochemistry, tourism and visual arts and economics and international trade and for master’s degree include agronomy and mining, oil and gas, and hydraulic and industrial engineering. (macauhub)
