Portuguese-speaking countries showcased at Macau market

A market focused on products from Portuguese-speaking countries and from Macau is due to be held on the Macau peninsula between 29 and 31 March, according to the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).

The event “Let’s Hang Out – Lusophone and Macau Products Bazaar” is intended to highlight the role of Macau as a “Services Platform for Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-Speaking Countries” and “Centre for Distribution of Food Products from Portuguese-Speaking Countries.”

Organised jointly by the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), the Macau Association for Promoting Community Economic Development and the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Macau Centre and South Districts, the event is co-organised by the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau) and the Business Federation of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

After two editions of “Let’s Hang Out” in 2018, organisers will bring together more than 20 companies on the site of the Centre for Distribution of Food Products from Portuguese-Speaking Countries – Tap Seac Square – to bring the typical products and cultures of Macau and the Portuguese-speaking countries to residents, traders and tourists.
