Macau International Tourism Fair highlights “Belt and Road” and “Greater Bay” initiatives

The 7th Macau International Tourism (Industry) Expo, which will take place from 26 to 28 April, will highlight Macao’s unique role in the Banner and Route and Greater Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau Initiative, said Tuesday the director of Macau Tourism Services.

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said that she is certain that the exhibition will also allow the creation of contact platforms with the aim of creating business opportunities for the participants of a fair that increasingly contributes to the recognition that Macau is an international center of tourism and entertainment.

The fair, which has the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, will have an area of 22 thousand square meters and 800 exhibitors from 50 countries and regions.

This year’s exhibition highlights the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region in 1999, which presents the tourist resources of the territory and the government’s commitment to transform Macau into a world tourism and tourism center. recreation.

The fair also includes a pavilion dedicated to the “Track and Route” initiative, which aims to discuss and deepen cooperation in the diversification of tourism products throughout the same region and another called the Great Bay pavilion that presents detailed information on tourism multi-destinations in the Greater Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay.
