The second new aeroplane painted up with the new branding of Cabo Verde Airlines and named “Baía de Tarrafal” is in the capital city Praia, where it arrived last Friday, the archipelago’s flagship airline said.
The exterior colours of the new aircraft are inspired by the houses on the island of Santiago, and inside there is an image of the bay that gives the aeroplane its name.
The aeroplane was named by public vote on Facebook, as was the first aircraft with the airline’s new branding, named “Praia de Santa Maria.”
The “Baía de Tarrafal” has to set up 12 “premium” seats and 180 tourist class seats.
Cabo Verde Airlines operates a fleet of three B757-200s and plans to have two more aircraft by the end of the year. (Macauhub)
