The National People’s Congress of China has donated two generators of 250 KVA and 50 computers o its counterpart in São Tomé and Príncipe under a “partnership agreement” between the two institutions, the president of the parliament announced on Friday.
Delfim Neves said the Chinese donation includes other office equipment, including 20 laser printers, 15 photocopiers and 10 televisions.
The announcement of the donation was made at the parliament 24 hours after Neves received the vice chairman of the Chinese National People’s Congress, Wang Chen, who left the archipelago at the end of an official working visit.
During the visit, Wang Chen reiterated China’s commitment to developing relations with São Tome and Príncipe and to continue to provide more aid to help the socio-economic development of the archipelago. (Macauhub)
