Macau’s gross casino revenues fell 3.5% year-on-year in July to 24.453 billion patacas (US$3.056 billion), the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said.
The drop in revenue in July follows two consecutive months of year-on-year increases, with June having the highest percentage change of the year at +5.9%.
Accumulated revenue from January to July contracted by 0.9% year-on-year to 173. 956 billion patacas (US$21.744 billion).
The six Macau gaming concessionaires had 41 casinos at the end of the first quarter of 2019, of which 22 were run by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, six by Galaxy Casino, five by Venetian Macau, four by Melco Crown (Macau), two by Wynn Resorts (Macau) and two by MGM Grand Paradise, with 6,734 gaming tables and 17,638 slot machines.
