The public presentation of the public tender for the granting of mining rights in Angola will take place from 27 August to 20 September in the cities of Luanda, Dubai, Beijing and London, according to the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Oil.
The ministry also said that the sessions in those four cities will be used to present the potential of the mining concessions up for tender and seek to attract international investors for exploration of diamonds, iron ore and phosphates in the Angolan provinces of Cabinda, Kwanza Norte, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul and Zaire.
The roadshow begins on 27 August in Luanda, Dubai hosts the second presentation on 10 September, followed by Beijing on 16 September and finally London on 20 September.
The international public tender will include five mining concessions, two for diamonds in the Angolan provinces of Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul, one for iron ore in Kwanza Norte, and two for phosphates, in Cabinda and Zaire.
The ministerial statement added that national and foreign companies, embassies, banks, chambers of commerce and industry, professional associations and other entities interested in the mining concessions may attend the presentations. (Macauhub)
