Macau welcomed 33.41 million visitors from January to October 2019, up 15.3% from 2018, according to the Statistics and Census Bureau, adding that the average stay was 1.2 days.
Visitors from Mainland China (23.79 million or 71.2% of the total), Hong Kong (6.12 million) and Taiwan (900,630) increased by 15.9%, 21.2% and 1.7%, respectively, in the first ten months of the year.
Macau welcomed 3.20 million visitors in October, up 1.8% year-on-year, with an average length of stay of 1.2 days.
The Statistics and Census Bureau also reported that most of the registered visitors in October entered Macau through Portas do Cerco, with 1.83 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.8%, while 347,959 visitors arrived via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. (Macauhub)
