“We are happy to open delegations in Portuguese-speaking countries,” Wang Xiquan said during his closing speech of the “International Belt and Road initiative Communication and Financial Cooperation Seminar,” held until Wednesday in the Portuguese capital. .
The chairman of the Bank of China Supervisory Board said the bank, “will serve as a bridge for communication between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, facilitating entry,” into China and helping “develop cooperation in these countries.”
“The Bank of China is a global bank, with the goal of providing services and cooperation with governments around the world, and we would like to have an increasing amount of exchanges in the economic and financial areas, so that we can be helpful,” said the banker, quoted by Portuguese state news agency Lusa.
