Angolan national oil company Sonangol has launched a public tender for the sale of stakes it holds in six companies, announced the state company in a statement released on Thursday in Luanda.
The companies are Atlântida Viagens Turismo, S.A, in Luanda, WTA Internacional, S.A, Atlântida Viagens Turismo, S.A, in Lisbon, WTA Travel Agency, S.A. (Luanda), WTA, S.A (Paris), WTA/Houston Express, InceITSS-International Travel Services and Systems, Inc.
All these companies are focused on travel and tourism and have headquarters in Angola, Portugal, the United States of America and France.
The statement from Sonangol said that this public tender, which runs from 20 December 2019 to 30 January of this year, is part of the restructuring programme of the company, as a result of the wider Privatisation Program (Propriv).
The Angolan oil company also said it intends to launch tenders related to its stakes in Sonaid-Serviços de Apoio à Perfuração, Lda, Sonasurf International Shipping, Lda, Sonasurf (Angola) – Companhia de Serviços Marítimos, Lda, Suite Hotel Maianga and Founton Lda.
Sonaid is focused on the supply, storage, maintenance and repair of tubular equipment for drilling oil and gas, and the Sonasurf companies are geared towards the operation and management of ships to support the oil business.
Founton Lda is dedicated to real estate management, while Suite Hotel Maianga (Luanda) is focused on hospitality. (macauhub)
