Portugal, along with Germany, Belgium and Romania, is one of the European countries where Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp plans to expand this year for the sale of mobile phones, said the group’s vice-president Shen Yiren.

The group with headquarters in Dongguan, Guangdong province, last Friday launched the new top of the range series of 5G mobile phones Find X2, including improvements in 5G technology, a high-resolution screen and faster application loading speeds.

This new series will be available soon in 31 countries, said the vice-president, adding that the group’s current 5G mobile phones are now available in 10 countries and regions.

Shen also said that the group will seek to establish a closer relationship with the 11 carriers with which it has partnerships, such as China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Orange and Vodafone, in the fields of technology, products and 5G markets.
