Angola’s Institute of State Asset Management (IGAPE) of Angola has decided to postpone the technical presentations, on Wednesday and Thursday in Luanda, on the privatisation textile and agro-livestock businesses, the Ministry of Finance said.
The official statement also said that the technical presentations will be held on a date yet to be announced, and justified the postponement with the need for adjustments to meet the recommendations of the health authorities on prevention of Covid-19.
The meetings were intended to bring together entrepreneurs, financial operators and consultants to provide information about the three textile factories and four agro-livestock units.
The three industrial units are Comandante Bula (formerly SATEC), located in Dondo, Kwanza Norte province, África Têxtil, located in the municipality of Benguela, province of Benguela and Textang II, located in the municipality of Cazenga, Luanda province.
The four agro-livestock units are Fazenda Quizenga (Malange), Fazenda Cubal (Benguela), Fazenda Longa (Kwando Kubango) and Fazenda Pungo Andongo (Malange).
The government’s Privatisation Programme (ProPriv) includes selling 195 companies to the private sector over a period of four years. (macauhub)
